With California experiencing one of the worst droughts in history the Water Gallery and Water Lab, presented by Pacific Life, give families the opportunity to learn about one of life’s most precious resources: water.
The Water Lab’s exhibits and activities give children a scientific look at water’s impact on our planet and its billions of inhabitants, with information on salt water, fresh water, frozen water, and water vapor. Children can learn about the existence of water in oceans, lakes, and underground, and test how water reacts to different movements and temperatures.
Pacific Life Water Lab
This summer, Discovery Cube will be using the Pacific Life Water Lab to teach about the ocean. Guests are invited to stop by for hands-on lessons that cover topics such as the health of our oceans, properties of water, and why beaches are made from sand.

We are devoted to encouraging behaviors that result in eco-friendly living and promoting environmental stewardship of land, air and water. This is accomplished through events such as watershed cleanups and recycling drives, as well as building partnerships with agencies that share in our environmental mission.
We strive to increase the skills of both students and teachers in science, technology, engineering and math, thus preparing students to successfully enter the workforce and become productive, problem-solving community members. Our exhibits and programs help students improve their science proficiency in the classroom and better understand the Next Generation Science Standards.
