Accessibility
We make every effort to provide an unforgettable experience to all of our guests, regardless of ability. Below is some information you may find helpful when planning a visit for guests with special needs.
Access for People with Disabilities
The Cube strives to be fully accessible to guests with disabilities. You may reach all of our public areas on both floors by accessing one of two elevators located inside the building.
Parking
Visitors with disabilities may park in designated areas near the entrance by displaying a disabled person or disabled veteran placard or license plate. The parking fee is $6 (alternate parking lot is cash only). A passenger drop-off/pick-up zone is available near the entrance as well.
Wheelchairs
The entire science center is wheelchair accessible; however, we are unable to provide wheelchairs for rental.
For Guests with Hearing Impairments
All videos in our exhibit halls have captioning available in both English and Spanish. We also offer assistive listening devices to amplify the sound at our live programs that are presented on microphone. Written interpretive materials can be provided for all tours upon request. We can also provide an ASL interpreter for requests made at least two weeks in advance.
For Guests with Visual Impairments
Our staff members and volunteers are always available to provide you with detailed descriptions of our exhibits.
Service Animals
Service animals that accompany guests with disabilities are welcome.
