2020 Missing Cup
On behalf of our Co-Chairs, Jim Mazzo and Steve Litchfield, our Golf Committee Members and Joe Adams, our Discovery Cube CEO, THANK YOU! Thank you for your generosity and continued investment in Discovery Cube. We truly appreciate your leadership, philanthropy and dedication to “The Kids”.
As the new school year begins, we are already hearing from teachers and parents that are asking us for help from their experience and struggles during the Spring shutdown. Especially with the uncertainty and “varying” degrees of returning to the classroom, holding Zoom classes, and needing virtual content and other activities as everyone looks for back to school solutions in Orange County.
Through our NEW Discovery Cube Connect platform and in collaboration with our NEW Cube Studios we are producing engaging seasonal online adventures for students to meet the ever-growing need for high-quality online educational resources. These adventures will take the user on a journey that promote learning through:
- – Hands-on STEM activities and lessons
- – Original Cube created videos
- – Curated supplementary videos and
Of the many things this pandemic has taught us, it’s that our most critical need is a well-educated STEM workforce. Scientists developing vaccines, medical staff on the front lines taking care of us, engineers constructing emergency facilities and equipment, and through technology, people designing new ways for us to communicate and share information. So, for all of this, and for all of you and your support, we are grateful!
