Summer Ribbon Salad
During this 45-minute interactive class, young chefs will assemble a delicious and healthy summer salad by peeling yellow (summer) squash and zucchini (Italian squash) into long strips. They will then roll those strips into ribbons and ornately display them in a bowl of spinach. Guests will then create their own lemon basil salad dressing using garlic, basil, Dijon mustard and freshly squeezed lemon juice. They will shake a sealed mason jar to mix the dressing and then drizzle it over the salad. Topped with halved cherry tomatoes, this salad is vibrant and ready to eat!
Cost: $20 per setting (each setting can accommodate 1-4 people). Participants must have valid general admission tickets or a Discovery Cube membership. This class is recommended for ages 4 and up.
