Summer Camps - Discovery Cube Orange CountySummer Camps - Discovery Cube Orange County

Given the continuing COVID crisis, Discovery Cube is offering a series of virtual summer camps to continue to support experiential science learning and fun for children in grades K-8 this summer. Our new virtual camps, beginning on June 29, are structured for 3 hours per day of fun science engagement using a mix of learning modalities.

Camps will each focus on one of six weekly themes, so that campers can join for the whole week or for individual days. Themes and relevant grades are listed below. Campers will be virtually guided through hands-on activities with lessons on the science behind each activity, and will use kits of materials to easily complete the activities at home. Campers will virtually engage with instructors and work together in small groups. Activities will largely be structured to allow campers to continue their hands-on work independently beyond the 3-hour camp sessions.
